Apple Pie Overnight Oats
Ingredients
Oatmeal layer
½ cup rolled oats
⅓ cup milk of choice
¼ cup plain yogurt
(optional) ¼ cup applesauce
½-1 tbsp maple syrup or honey
1 tbsp chia seeds
½ tsp apple pie spice OR ½ tsp cinnamon
Apple layer
1 apple, chopped
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1 Tbsp maple syrup
1 pinch sea salt
Other
(optional) 1 tbsp almond butter
Instructions
In a small saucepan, add chopped apples, cinnamon, maple syrup, and salt and mix to evenly distribute the cinnamon.
In a small bowl, mix the milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, cinnamon, nut butter, and vanilla. Add the oats and stir until well-combined.
Layer the oat mixture followed by the apple mixture in a jar. Place in the refrigerator overnight.
Add the almond butter before serving. Enjoy!
