Apple Pie Overnight Oats

 

Ingredients

Oatmeal layer

  • ½ cup rolled oats

  • ⅓ cup milk of choice

  • ¼ cup plain yogurt

  • ¼ cup applesauce

  • ½-1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

  • ½ tsp apple pie spice OR ½ tsp cinnamon, ¼ tsp nutmeg, pinch of ginger

  • pinch of sea salt

Apple layer

  • 1 apple, chopped

  • 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 pinch sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, add chopped apples, cinnamon, maple syrup, and salt and mix to evenly distribute the cinnamon.

  2. In a small bowl, mix the milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, cinnamon, nut butter, and vanilla. Add the oats and stir until well-combined.

  3. Layer the oat mixture followed by the apple mixture in a jar. Place in the refrigerator overnight.
