Gut-friendly Smoothie

 

Looking for something to help nourish your gut? Kefir is a milk-based beverage best known for being an excellent source of probiotics. Combined with the prebiotic fibres found in bananas, it makes for the perfect gut healthy beverage!

Serves: 1

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup of kefir

  • 1/2 cup frozen berries

  • 1/2 frozen banana

  • 1 tbsp almond butter

  • 1 tbsp hemp, chia or ground flaxseed

  • Water, as needed to help mix

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender. Enjoy!
