Whether you’re using cocoa powder, chocolate chip or any leftover holiday chocolate, try putting it to good use! 1.Pomegranate Dark Chocolate Bark

A blend of chocolate & fruit make for a romantic snack/dessert to share. Adding nuts such as walnuts and hazelnuts, they can make for some added protein, fiber & healthy fats! In this chocolatey recipe, I also sprinkled in some puffed quinoa for it to resemble my childhood favourite chocolate bars: Crunch (if you know, you know).

Who knew avocado could make for a healthy creamy dessert? Turn your ripe avocados into a homemade mousse or truffles — they help to add in some nutritious fats and a delicious creamy texture! To add an extra layer of texture & fun, try rolling them in your choice of chia, flax seeds or hemp seeds, and for something more festive…sprinkles!

Whether it’s made form a box or made from scratch, Rocky Road brownies are my choice of marshmallow-type dessert. It’s sweet, it’s decadent and that added crunch makes all the difference. Try swapping the usual peanuts with Omega-3 healthy fats like walnuts and pumpkin seeds!
